Vibrant Versatile Practical - Art off the Wall

Wildly expressive, awed by nature, ready to explore, make memories, and be inspired; this is the story of Pink Lake Road, and the creative captain – Peta Riley; designer, mother, farmer, visual arts teacher and colour enthusiast.

Peta, being a very practical person & believes art should be everywhere, she developed the "Neoprene Picnic Beach Blanket" while designing for her collaborative company, Mulla Mulla Designs. - A functional item, showcasing original art and design. She has rebranded to Pink Lake Road Australia where the neoprene products are now made in Australia.

With inspiration driven by the unique landscape that surrounds her, Peta creates Australiana designs in both wearable pieces, items for the home, or the ideal addition to your next Australian adventure. She perfectly captures both the expansive costal beauty of Western Australia, and the impressive wildflowers that draw tourists to the area, in her continually evolving range of Australian textiles.

In the coastal town of Dongara, located 350km north of Perth, nestled under giant Moreton Bay Fig trees, Peta creates thoughtfully designed, limited edition pieces, collaborating with creative partners Tyford+Co to bring the pieces to you. Find them at pop up markets, and learn the stories of the designs, as well as the relationships built with the many craftsmen partners, throughout the world, and right here at home. There is a great pride felt by Pink Lake Road, in their ability to support the coming generations to not only learn the craft handed down to them, but to also support their own families financially using their skills.

From filling your home with reflections of the Australian flora and fauna beauty, to taking our landscape inspired pieces with you on your own adventures – there is a Pink Lake Road piece waiting for you, to encourage you to live vibrantly, and enjoy the journey.

See you on the road.......
